Beth Santa, Founder and President
Beth is an 18-year resident who's family originates from
Bridgeport's Hungarian West End. An avid gardener, champion of all native plants and member of the Black Rock Garden Club and The Fairfield Garden Club. She is a founder of the Seaside Gateway Trail, that restored 22 native trees to Seaside Park's aging tree canopy.
Scott Burns, Vice President
Scott also is a Bridgeport resident, conservationist, history buff and avid birder. Founder of the Park City Compost Initiative, he is also a former City Council member.
Tim O'Connor - Treasurer
Tim is a proud Bridgeporter, a real "Aggie", tomato grower, conservationist, and Executive Director of the Park City Compost Initiative where you will find him manning the tracker.
Mary Ellen Lemay- Director
Mary Ellen is a Trumbull resident and Conservation Director
for Aspetuck Land Trust. Mary Ellen loves her job and is big believer in nature-based solutions for resiliency. She led the planting of 30 "Buffers
for Bridgeport" gardens throughout the City to capture and filter storm water; and has planted dense Miyawaki micro forests at 7 of our schools, plus recently the Miyawaki forest in the northeast, right here in Seaside Park.
